It's All Good - Week #53
Que tal! Hey, how's it rolling. I hope good. Its rolling along a lot faster than I thought it would. But my weeks was pretty solid. So here it be:
Tuesday: I got a call that I was playing the piano for zone conference...which was the next day. So we hit up this lady and did some service, which was kinda weird. Then we hit up the church and I managed to find a nice McDonald book so I polished up If I Could Hie to Kolob and was good to go. Also, got clapped by a cold. Like literally was just laying on the floor of the chapel for a sec, but it's all good. We had a few lessons with some awesome people too.
Wednesday was zone conference, and of course we forgot to get gas before so we were a little late. But the ride took us on the highway to Nashville which was sooo sick!! Idk why I loved it so much but I did. Zone conference was also banging, turns out I wasn't playing a special musical number I was just playing the hymns, which was solid but then they pulled a fast one on me and changed the last one and I played all 7 verses of poor wayfaring man of grief, which actually went really well. Zone conference was really good. We also had a lesson with a dude named Leonel and it slapped.
Thursday was kinda slow but we had some good contacts and some fun at the basketball night and a nice Montoya's lesson.
Friday we balled out and had some good lessons. Then soccer night witch is always a good time.
Saturday we had like 6 lessons fall through so that was exciting. Not really but it's all good. Got a lot of church invites out...and on Sunday, 1 person came. So that better than 0 people showing up!! Sunday was pretty slow too but we had a few good lessons. And taco night. Taco night slaps.
Well I haven't put a spiritual thought in for a sec so here's on. Ngl it's just a copy and paste quote,
Most of you are familiar with Alice in Lewis Carroll’s classic novel Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. You will remember that she comes to a crossroads with two paths before her, each stretching onward but in opposite directions. As she contemplates which way to turn, she is confronted by the Cheshire Cat, of whom Alice asks, “Which path shall I follow?”
The cat answers, “That depends where you want to go. If you do not know where you want to go, it doesn’t matter which path you take.”
Unlike Alice, we know where we want to go, and it does matter which way we go, for the path we follow in this life leads to our destination in the next life.
This is from president Monson's talk called choices! Super good!
Happy birthday Petersen grandparents. Thanks for making a good dad for me. Shout out to Landon, who got his email out before me for the first time. Also sandy bc I was able to kill all 7 verses bc of her.
God loves ya.
Te amo
