It's All Good - Week #42

Hello everybody, que tal? This week was one for the books that's for sure. This one might be a little bit of a longer one, sorry not sorry. So let's get into it.

So Tuesday we got a nice ride to swap the car in the morning, and then skirted over to Patti and Ingrid's. Got some good work into there, then hustled over to the Cruz fam and taught them some nice English. They were the best and made us some lunch, good old Latino style for sure. Afterwards we got stuck in so much traffic for some reason and we get a call from this random guy, who wants us to help him move a piano. Were getting pretty good at that after like 4 or 5 pianos moved. We find out that the guy is the same one we helped move about a week ago. So that was sick. We got it done and then immediately after we hop on over to the church for English class. Which went well. Full day just running everywhere for service is banging but also gets ya real tired.

Wednesday was hermana Massey's birthday. So we had dis-co. The hermanas told us to buy some Crumbl for her birthday. They wanted just a small 4 box, but we ended up getting a solid 12. It was good tho. So afterwards we were going to district lunch at b-dubs. And we were hyping Massey up so much we got her to do the blazing challenge. Then Christensen didn't want to be shown up tried to do it to. Massey wiped the floor with him it wasn't even close. Twas a good time. Later in the day we had some amazing lessons and contacts with the people at Keeneland. It was awesome!!

On Thursday elder Spencer relized they're was a lot he still needed to do before he went home. So we got a lot of that done. We also saw this poppin cuts place and got our hair styled up. Later the bois( aldo, Bryan, Tony, Wayner) wanted to take us out to eat bc it is Elder Spencer's last week. They took us to golden coral. Which I haven't been to in years. But it was awesome. We took some fun pics

Friday we had lunch with the Frenchies, Kyle loves this one sushi buffet, and it did not disappoint. I'm not a big sushi roll kinda guy but it was pretty good. We hit some nice street contacts and ran into Muhammad and Walter so that was awesome. But we lost track of time and had to go to volleyball in our pros clothes, which just happened to be our biggest volleyball night yet. Needless to say, we still balled out.

Saturday was transfer calls but pres decided that he would call at night for some reason. So they entire day it was on our minds. We got some quality contacts in and a pretty awesome lesson with the bois. We were in the middle of soccer night when pres called. So the news is I'm losing elder Christensen who somehow is going to Norte with elder Hughes. Idk how he payed of president but hey. I'm getting elder Atkinson who is going to be a change let's just say that. Well see how it goes.  I kinda was out of it for a while, but then it was my team's turn to play in first goal swaps at soccer night. So to make me feel better I scored and assisted 9 goals in a row. Twas a good time. We only came out the very last game. Also we were rolling in downtown during the fireworks.. woo I love America so much.

Sunday was sick, we had church and 8 people showed up. The bois came to film the prayer in Spanish, Tony's got a heavenly voice. Then we went to the Cruz family again bc they were teaching us how to make ceviche. It was good. Apparently they had a lesson with the hermanas, and they canceled to have a lesson with us. So I guess were the favorite or something. Then we went over to the Bobadillas, and celebrated Hermana Boba's birthday!!! We got to smash not 1 not 2 not 3 hut 5 people into cakes, it was fun.

Well next week will be a lot different know gods got a plan for each and every one of us. His love is infinite and individual. I'm grateful for this transfer, it was amazing.

Love yall

Te amo
-Max
