It's All Good - Week #52

Sooo...what's up? Que tal? Que la que? Que pachuca portaluca? How is everyone doing? I'm doing all good! Pretty solid week actually so let's get into it:

Tuesday we had some solid calls, lessons. One was with the Hernandez family, and we challenged them to pray every night as a family, and then the next night they sent us a video of them praying...which is kinda weird but hey they did it so I'm proud of them!

Wednesday we got some ice cream from the lady we moved last week, which was nice. There was like a 4 hour block that we had no idea what to do. So we just said a prayer and drove off, at the end of the day we ended with like 18 quality handouts and ran out of spanish copies of the book of Mormon, 3 new people, 5 new potentials, and and Evelio accepted a baptism date! So that one was pretty popping guess. God is good. 

Thursday we rolled on out and had 3 solid lessons in a row, nothing else really happened but its all good. We really connected with a member, prince, at. Basketball night and then at church he came up to us and said ah I couldn't leave with out saying what up to you guys. 

Friday we had district council, always a bop. Then did some service for Obisbo. We painted a deck like this blood red color; and naturally I got it all over my self. Then actually we drove Brookside to the mission office to get a car bc Elder Fyan clapped his foot when he dropped a bike rack on it. Kinda fun, Kinda dumb. But we brought them to a lesson with troy which is always a good time. He really likes god. He told us bc he didn't keep his commitment he had to go to church this Sunday. Which isn't the greatest reason to come but hey he came so. Then we had soccer night and you can guess how that went. Elder re-pete wanted to take a mirror selfie like a girl so that explains that picture. 

Saturday we had exchanges with Brookside again, and I got to go with Elder Simp. He is literally so funny. But we did some more service and I didn't have any clothes, so I borrowed clothes from Elder Thurenagle who again is a bit bigger than me but I was looking dripping with my oversized shorts and shirt, shirt wasn't too bad actually. Then we had a couple really awesome lessons. That's basically it. 

Sunday we had church, troy did pull up which was cool. My comp gave a talk which I had to translate. He got really nervous and started speaking really fast, so basically I was zooming trying to swap it to spanish speaking 200 words/second. It was kinda fun. After church we had a lessons with an old spanish couple. Turns out they are Spanish pastors which was insane, and they accepted the book of Mormon, and then gave us an anti-bible. So that was kinda fun. Then we shared the face to face with loads of people, man I love Elder Bednar. It was really good tho and I recommend watching it. Then another few lessons, and then taco night baby!! Good stuff

Happy birthday Taylor, and Jarom. God love y'all. We also found a lizard in our apartment one morning. So that was exciting! And we think another guy was shot outside of our apartment so that was exciting too. Makes us teach the plan a little more. Anyway
