It's All Good - Week #49

What's going on y'all? I'm back in Louisville popping off. Doing solid. This week was kinda wild ngl. My new comp is really nice, hes got a girlfriend that he baptized and I think ive heard the story 17 times now but that's ok. He's been out for 2 transfers and again is really nice. But let's hop into it

So Tuesday I get all packed up and we drive on out to transfers, I see all the homies and it's nice and good!! Then me and re-Pete head out, we did a bunch of contacting and then when we were walking back we stopped by this court and ball up with some Cuban guys...elder re-Pete loved it, but sadly isn't very coordinated, but that's ok. We still took the dub don't worry. Gave 'em some pamphlets and they want us to meet their family too...so that was fun.

Wednesday we hit up some more homies, walked some trailer parks, good stuff... west Louisville is kinda sketchy ngl but I love it. Its good stuff.

Thursday we had some actually solid contacts with some homies, and a few lessons. We went to b-dubs with Okolona, and I was the only one to finish my wings, that's besides the point. We also tried to have a bunch of lessons but the fell through. Ya hate to see it.

Friday was originally going to be a baptism actually. Not for us but for the 4th ward which we are in. But in the morning we had district council, the district is actually kinda fun, but its not the Spanish one so ya win some your lose some. We have senior missionaries in our district and they're kinda fun. We had a lesson with this young guy named Alejandro. We did put him on date...but the date he picked was December 4th...2022. Which is a little far. He's praying about it so I'll let y'all know how it goes. Then the baptism got cancelled, Maddie lost contact with the missionaries completely, nobody knew what was happening. Then we had soccer night, which is always a good time. Fun fact some grumpy old dude told me I couldn't score anymore, so I just pulled a ridge and got some nice assists.

Saturday is where more of the crazy comes in. So we planned out our day all nice, then bishop called and asked if we would be adults to come to the temple with the youth. We said Absolutely. I haven't been to the temple in nearly a year, and I've been asking pres about it constantly for the past few transfers. So we take these opportunities when they come. It was awesome!! It felt really good. It was a nice little blessing for my life. Then we had an amazing lesson with this guy named Evelio and his friend, the Gould's came but they don't speak spanish so I had to dust off my translation skills and get to work. It was pretty great. 

Sunday we went to both the 4th ward and the quinta rama. The Ola hermanas had someone they wanted us to meet...he never showed but the 4 hours of church minus drive and solilize time was nice. We called like 3 million people, and then had a fun family home evening at the Valencia's house. 

Gods in the details of the details of your life, he knows you inside and out. All of your strengths and all of your weaknesses. Yet he still loves you, he loves you perfectly!! Trust in that love!!

Also congrats to Abbie who got married to I think it was Landon, I'm not sure...sorry. She got married!! Wish I could have been there but I hope for the the best!!
