It's All Good - Week #47
Hola!! What's going on? Were back for another weekly. Hope your weeks went absolutely fantastic!! Mine was pretty good.
So last pday we went down to a lil lake and it was amazing. It was refreshing thats for sure. But then afterwards we got the chance to wait outside the er for like 3 hours. E Hughes got a boxer's fracture and now is in a soft cast.
Tuesday we basically just got drove around by Beaumont. Comp popped a tire, and doesn't know how to put a patch on so he ripped I want to say 4 or 5 patches and so Beaumont drove us around to get more patches and pick us up. We did have a nice lesson with the puerta ricans. They're so dope and i practiced my song like crazy when I could.
Wednesday we had some fun lessons, helped a guy push his car around a few blocks. We think hes got a bad alternator. But he was pretty cool.
Thursday we had some awesome contacts, got to play a lil soccer with some people at a park..had an awesome lesson with victor and cindy. They aren't Puerto Rican but they're dope too.
Friday was zone conference which is always a good time. Learned a lot, ate a lot, felt a lot. The sister I played the piano for had no idea how the song went..so needless to say it was a lil rough around the edges. She was zooming towards the end!! But It was solid. I also got a horrendous pic with president and sister alder but that's besides the point.
Saturday we had to go to the store again bc comp needed to buy a new tube. So Beaumont drove us around again, we had some awesome lessons an helped a family move in.then soccer night..always a good time.
Sunday we had church. Good ol iglesia. The sacrament is always amazing. We did a lot of member visits. One with the chavez, bobadillas, herreras, and the other Herrera's. It was a nice day, members are awesome.
Well this week I hit my year mark and that's acually insane. I've deffinatly learned a lot and have grown in ways I didnt expect. I honestly didn't think I would make friends and have relationships with amigos, other missionarys, and members, but the love I've learned to have for them is amazing. The district last transfer, aldo and the boys, members in jasper, undine and christine, the list can go on and on. But I'm grateful for the chance I have to be out here and creating these amazing connections.
Te amo
