It's All Good - Week #35

Hello!! What's poppin? How was your week? Mine was pretty good. Lots and lots of service.

Tuesday we went with Beaumont and got our second dose of the vaccine. It was also my momma's b-day!!!  Wooo happy birthday!!! We also had a ton of people show up for English class so that was exciting. And you know...nightly yoga.

Wednesday we did some contacting and I totally biffed it on my bike. My back wheel got all janky, and now I got a nice raspberry on my elbow, but other than that were chilling. We also played some basketball with this guy and it was a good time.

Thursday was the start of the service grind. Ingrid and her daughter were having a yard sale and didn't really know what they wanted to sell. So we pulled everything out of this packed garage for 3 hours. Then built a dresser from IKEA. Man those bad boys have so many screws. Its actually insane and then we put everything back into the garage, neat and organized of course.

Friday was some dc, and some quality lessons with our cowboy homies and everyone out in Versailles. Then we played some basketball with our man Eduardo!! Twas a good time as well.

Saturday was the big ol' yard sale. We pulled up with Beaumont and pulled everything out of the garage again and set everything up. We had more service planned as well, I know what you were thinking. Oh man that's a lot of service Max your right. Yep, but it was only 9 o'clock by then. After we set everything up and take a visit to the dreaded storage unit, we rolled over to Cardinal Valley and spread some mulch for a solid few hours. Our noses smelled nothing but mulch for hours. But it was a good time. But then you know we had to put everything back into the garage after the yard sale. So we get to Ingrid's at 2, but then were thinking, ya know if you keep your yard sale up Ingrid, more people can show up. So that's what she does, meanwhile we build and take apart 2 bed frames from IKEA. You know gotta stay busy. So then we set up this sleeping situation, and a few hours the later yard sales over, and everything is back in the garage. Now I know your thinking, wow that's a long day of service but there can't be more, right?? Yea you're absolutely right!! Almost 11 straight hours of service is good enough for us. We also did some sprints, and holy throw back to when I was actually good at running. Crazy

Sunday was a bit of the usual. A chance to partake in the good ol' sacrament. Iglesias always pops off. And the Bobadilla's always treat us right. Were always grateful.

But yeah anyway, hope you guys are doing well. Staying awesome! Somebody pretty cool has a birthday on the 20th oh wait nvm, it was on the 5th. Happy birthday anyway!! Also shoutout to TP who's going to Argentina!!

Last week a year ago I opened up my mission call. So much has happened, and I've learned and grown in ways I never expected. I wouldn't change anything for the world.

Te amo
