It's All Good - Week #34

Hello everybody. que Pachuca porta luca! So this week was pretty nice. Some fun parts, some nice and spiritual parts. You know how it be.

So Tuesday we started out the week by just biking 30 minutes In the rain to switch the cat with the hermanas. Honestly so much fun. Everything we had on got soaked. Our pants were Velcroed to our legs and our shoes are still drying out. Once we got the car we got home, cleaned up a bit, and went and did service at Ingrid's for 4 hours. She did take us to I-hop after which was nice of her. But then she yelled at us for ordering chocolate milk, even though it was cheaper then what she got. We did some quick contacts and then had English class which is always a blast. Then after we got home. Beaumont had the fantastic idea of doing yoga nights, and man it hits different. Reclining pigeon never felt so good.

Wednesday we had exchanges, of course elder came with me. I cant seem to get rid of the guy. Jk. But we swapped again with the hermanas. And went riding through Lexington contacting people. We actually met some really cool people. It was a solid time. And you know we finished the day with some yoga.

Thursday was fun. Their is a member of the English ward that lives by us. And they have this piano that Swapping the car, except this time the hermanas didn't show up. So we had to bike to Ingrid's. We actually had a lesson with her and her daughter...then we did service. But we actually had a awesome time at Keeland with the horses and Versailles. One referral we got was actually legit!! It was crazy. He's super cool.

Friday we had interviews with pres which is always a solid time. But we had to wake up early and switch the car so the hermanas didn't have to bike to interviews. So..bright and early we drove over there. And all was good and chillin. But then on the way home we got stopped by a train for like 30 minutes. So we decided to run around it. So we walked next to this stopped train for a solid 7 minutes that's how long it was. We finally can see the end when we hear a faint " toot toot" so we look back and this other train is all the way at the start of the other train, so probably about a mile away. Were like hey we can make it, maybe well walk a little faster tho. So fast forward, the second train starts hauling towards us and were running to try and shoot  past both trains. Trying to sprint with bike kinda doesn't work well. Ya know in hindsight probably should have. But you know, you gotta do what you gotta to do. Plus we were late already we couldn't wait for another train.
We made it on time tho.

Saturday was pretty poppin'. Had some good contacts and Edwin invited us to play some street soccer. So we pull up and I swear every Latino in Lexington was there playing. It was dope. I think I broke my middle toe, worth it tho. We then biked an hour to hermano Martin's and had some dinner with the man himself. Then an hour back. Good stuff

Sunday we popped off after a good ol' sacrament and dinner with the Bobas is always something special.

My week was pretty solid tho. A nice mix of everything. Shout out to my mom, who's birthday is this week!! Happy birthday!! Also shout out to Brett wheeler, no particular reason he's just dope and I miss him.

Te amo
Max
