It's All Good - Week 32
Hola!! How y'all doing!! I hope the answer is good but ya never know. Well, my week was pretty solid. Some good stuff.
Tuesday-we had a pretty packed day, had a mission devotional call, got the first part of the vaccine, did some service for the tiny old lady Ingrid that was terribly frustrating. Then we came home and did more service helping a U-Haul get un packed. Then we went inside and tried not to fall asleep during Spanish study. And then they came in with another U-Haul, so you know what we had to do. The dude also shredded this van as he backed in, and he told me not to worry about it as it "had to be done." Our new Nigerian neighbors are popping. And then we had English class, and man it was a little tough ngl explaining why English is the way it is in Spanish, kinda is the worst. But it's all good, we got it done and hopefully they learned a few things.
Wednesday- so, were supposed to have dinner with the presidente of our rama. The Hermanas are going at 7 and we are going at 8. We show up a little bit early and the hermanas are just chilling bc presidente isnt home. He get home at like 8:15. So we all eat tgr, and presidente hold us talking their until like 9:50. They he's like welp, yall should be home by now...then keeps talking to us. So..it was a good time. The hermanas also tried to shotgun an ale-8 and man that was the funniest thing I've seen in a while.
Thursday- anyway so Thursday was the quietest day we had, we kinda just had district council, had some canes, did some contacts, and that was it. We did meet a guy at a park for a lesson and got to watch a little league baseball game. Good ol' days.
Friday- we did even more frustrating service with Ingrid. She's really nice but loves to make you feel bad for the mistakes she tells you to do. Trying to explain to her that the way she wants us to do it will get the legs on her couch stuck...and then the get stuck, is an absolute banger of a time. We also played some pickup with these guys at the park. Playing in church shoes is kinda wack but real fun.
Saturday- we got to do more service!! Wooo. We basically were directors for a service project called billion graves. So we got to strap on our just serve shirts and step out into the rain. I decided to wear crocs bc it didn't want to have soggy socks. I don't regret my decision, it was a good time. The Wilson's took us out to eat at red robin with Beaumont after wards. We also were invited to Evolet's 1 year old birthday party. It was dummy lit. Let me tell you, she's not going to remember a thing she's 1, but they went hard!! They had 2 massive wedding tent kinda things, so much food, candy, soda( also did you know pina colada fanta is a thing? It's good man) and anything else you could imagine. They had like carnival games and did a whole bunch of activities like musical chairs, and sack races. Seeing grown Latino men do a sack rack was so funny. They went hard. And we gave out a few quality handouts as well, got some info. Twas a good time
Sunday we had Iglesias!!! Wooo the Santa cena!! Always a good time. And we had bomb food with the Bobadillas, also always a good time and had some good contacts, and we found a cool park. So good stuff
Happy birthday to everyone who had one this week!! Stay awesome, stay true. Always be humble and kind. Have courage and be kind.
Idk I'm just shooting out some quotes, love y'all.
Te amo
