It's All Good - Week #20
What is going on everybody!! How are y'all doing??
My week was pretty awesome we had some sweet lessons and some good times.
Tuesday we did service and basically wiped this lady's backyard of anything but grass. There was some chickens running around and the lady gave us permission to catch them, so...you know we had to be like rocky a little bit. It was a good time. We also had a lesson with Susy, but it didn't go over well, she was a little tipsy.
Wednesday we did even more service with Okolona. We filled up 14 bags, TIGHT with leaves. Those bad bois were packed in there. We had a tamper and it got the job done. It also snowed a lot in Louisville on Wednesday, sooo...we bundled up best would could and went sledding and had a snowball fight. It was real refreshing that's for sure.
Thursday was a long day of contacting. We made brownies and dropped them off at a few houses, also ate a few of them.
Friday we had district council. The perks of living in Louisville is you do councils at the mission office and they have anything you ever need in there. Food, heating, couches. It's real nice. So district council was a good time. Then..after we had another snowball fight with the APs. Then we noticed our tire was flat and we had to take almost 4 hours out of our day to fix it. It took forever, so we walked and explored a nice sandwich place, hobby lobby, and home depot. We also had a lesson with Tony, he is a member from Lima Peru, and he has got a little off doctrine, but he has got the right idea.
Saturday we had a bunch of English classes. We have a bunch of English classes every day. We also had a nice lesson with Susy, who wasn't intoxicated, so that was good to see. Donna came again, Donna is an absolute studd of a member who does what ever she wants. She told us all about all the shooting that happened in Louisville this week. So that was fun.
Sunday was pretty weird, 2 of Okolona's elders flew out either to Paraguay, or the salt lake consulate, so we got elder Hughes for the next few days. Church was popping as always. Contacting went decently well. Spanish people love to talk and as long as I keep the questions up, they'll stay at it. Just gotta have a good vibe and loosen up a bit.
Anyways my weeks was pretty good. Hoping next weeks is just as good. Also!!! It was ridge Todd's birthday yesterday, so happy birthday!!!
Te amo
