It’s All Good Week - #14

It’s that time of the week again, e-mail time. 

This week was sooo long but really good at the same time. This week is christmas and is the freaking best so I have that to look forward to. 

Sooo i need to catch up on my journal so i dont remeber everthing about this week but this is the good stuff.

tue: solid, we had a baptismal interview with the zl, so reunion with elder colemon. Collinink killed the interview and was so ready to be baptized. we basically babysat his kids while he was getting interviewed. So when i get back if anyone needs a babysitter, i've got some experience. 

Wed: twas alright, nothing to extraordinary.  We had dinns with sister hughlett which always is a good time. she  made us her taste testers for meals her daughter could make for cheap. it was solid but nothing special. 

Thurdsay was the christmas devotional. We had to go early so me and mc-cheesy could get trained as district leaders. Not going to lie i think most of it is just common sense and a few logistical responsibilitys, but its all pretty simple.  The acual devotional was pretty popping and was a great experience. The made me play the very first musical number, i think chambers was messing with me, but i did fine, nothing to speical. ill send a video of the song i played if the file isnt too long. We had funeral potatoes and a nice christmas meal. It was the best. we also sang a song for a tallent show as an appartment, but then jessee got bochayed for christmas by president for having an eletric guitar. After words we went to target in New Albany, which was amazing. I think target just makes you feel better no matter what. 

Friday was a pretty cool day. It was christines, ( the german ladys daughter), birthday, so we went over and had cake and sooooooo much german sweets, and dominos pizza. They got a little baby bunny and we brought it on an adventure to go pick up the pizza with me and loftus. It was awesome and pretty adorable. 

Saturday was colins baptism wooooooooooo. It was amazing!!! everything about it was so nice. im so proud of him and his decison to get baptized and how happy i have seen the gospel make him. We called elder bird, brandner, and haws in and elder bird cried again. Colin asked me to confirm him on sunday so that was epic.  After the baptism me and mc-cheesy went over to the germans again to help them with some service. The only service we got was a stuffing of more german sweets...and a fire place built but mostly the german stuff in our belly. 

Sunday was normal. dinner with the scotts is always the best part of the week. Were spending, i think half of the week with them. Today, Christmas eve, Christmas, and sunday. so thats exciting!!

Over the Last couple weeks we have shared the christ child video sooo many times. It never fails to bring the spirit to which ever house we show it at, even christian and felicia with eli spinning in circles again. Eli stopped and started watching it when baby jesus and little jesus were on screen. 

It goes to show that this season is all about the love jesus and  heavenly father have for everyone of his children. He has given the greatest gift of his son to all man, so that we might be happy and return and live with him again. The love that is surrounding christmas is incredible. We truely shine as we spread that light, and love with those around us.
