It’s All Good - Week #10

hola!! que tal?

This week felt sooo long, but it was really good at the same time. I think most weeks have really good in them we just have to look for it. It's all about that attitude. anyways ill just kinda recap most of my days. I dont know if thats the best way to go about these emails, but its all good. 

So tuesday was interseting. we had dinner with this inactive spanish family. But noone except the dad was there. hes super cool though. and it was good to practice my spanish with him. 

wednessday cool stuff: We cleaned our car, and bible bashed this dude. I know where not supposed to bible bash it takes away the spirit. but this guy took away the spirit everytime he spoke. We won for sure! He was like oh shoot and had to reconsider his points. they werent very good. But god still loves him so we were pretty respecful while destorying him with the word of god. Gracis a dios!!

Thursday was Zone confrence. Always a good time. We talked about Our commission from jesus chirst and how we can greater fufill that. It ws really cool to see the love that our president has for each of us missionarys.He also basically told all  of us to be even more obiedent. So thats fun. The dive to and from New albany does pop off thats for sure. 

Friday i genuinly dont remember much, i know we had dinner with this member named will, he made us some ribs, and some facebook finding... AND THE PROPHET spoke to us!! that was pretty dope not going to lie. I think that was the first time i have ever heard the prophet pray, and i mean he does a pretty good jog haha. But his message of hope really is inspiring and i invite every-one to watch or rewatch it  to hear the message from god to you, through our loving prophet. 

Saturday we had exchanges with the other elders in our appartment and i got the greenie, Elder Loftus. We had a pretty bomb time ngl, and i got to drive so that was even better. We did some service, had some doors slammed in our face, met the nicest lady that is literaly doing everything in the gospel besides comming to church. She told us to come back, but elder loftus liked her so he took that as she wants him to come back. While we were driving we got a call from prison brian, and hes now out of prison for the second time and wanted us to bless his house. His story keeps getting crazyier and crazyier. Let me know if you want to know the full story. Anyway I blessed his house and after i look at loftus, hes this kinda tough acting kid, and he was crying. I thought it was just the smokey house but he was like nahh the spirit man. So that was a little tender mercy for him and for me. And brian came to church too!!

sunday was a long day filled with lots of closed doors, and a few shut on us, but its all good. There is opposition in all things, so that mean that someone, somewhere, was ready to recive the gospel and opened the door. So thats good!

One of the very first person studys i did in the mtc was on hope. There is so many great scriptures, talks, and messages of hope for us to read and gain wisdom from. The prophets message of hope is not a new message. God has given us everything we need to remain upright before him. Our Tesitmonys, and our lives for that matter, are built on the combination of faith, hope, and charity. These things work togther to hold up our happiness. Each thing has eternal significance to our lives and the lives of those around us. My favorite apostle is Neal. A. Maxwell. in part because of his incredible name, but more because of his life and his ministry.  He is no longer with us, but his teachings and talks still ring true, especially in my heart, today. I've almost finished listening to every one of his general confrence talks and i invite all of you to listen to a few of them. They are amazing! There is one esspecialy good one on hope that is awesome!

Im greatful for everyone of you and the influence you have had on who i am today. In one way or another, all of you have changed my llife, and i appreciate it.

Haha also brandner wanted to cut his own hair so that pic is what he was able to do with out our help, I think he should have kept that look hahaha.
