It's All Good - Week #9

So, what’s up!! I'm out of quarantine doing some more missionary work. It's awesome, missionary work slaps. It really is pretty cool.

So quick ol’ rundown.

Monday was exciting....we did nothing, I mean we were still in quarantine so that's alright. These members made us dinner and that was dope. They are awesome. So, we gobbled that up. And you know, played some pickleball. This time there was some fun old ladyies playing and they talk some mean trash talk not gonna lie.

Tuesday- still in quarantine but we had a lil more hope. We did all the stuff we had to do...and then played some more pickle. But today it was storming real, real hard. The rain was coming down and we were lucky the floods went coming up, but it was close. I love the rain and I love playing pickleball so it was fantastic.

Honestly don’t remember Wednesday I think I got my parents quarantine package and I got some beanies and I've decided I really like beanies. They’re heavenly. I'm supper grateful for everyone who texted, emailed, did anything to help get through quarantine.

Thursday was elder Jesse's birthday. And we got out of quarantine!!! We went town to tell city and had some cake with the district and played some lil basketball on one of those toy hoops. We also helped moved a bunch of dryers up a few stairs and installed a chord onto them.

Friday was wild. We had a dope dope, dope plan of salvation lesson with Cary. It was amazing. Then we went over to Felicas. And something's wrong. We talked to her for a while and they're going through some things and it was rough. Me and elder Brandner were kinda stunned but were working with them.

On Saturday we already had interviews, it literally feels like the transfer just started because we’ve been in quarantine. But hey, those went well. President is awesome!! And we did some service and yeah.

Sunday, church always slaps, dinner with some members socially distanced of course. And some dope lessons. Good solid day.

I think the main spiritual, or just point I got out quarantine is that everything is up to how you think or view it. If you look for the positive, you will find it in anything. If you look for the negative, you will find it too. Our mindset determines our happiness and how we choose to react. It really is a choice. We can choose to be happy, we can choose to let god prevail, we can choose to be obedient.

Spanish is gonna be fun, but also rough. I am at that stage where I know what's going on and can make pretty solid sentences, but just not doubting the gift of tongues or the little things is what’s getting at me. So I just gotta push past that and it’ll all be good!!

This week McKenna got her mission call!!! She’s going to Philly!! It’s so sick!! Last week I missed my uncle Karls birthday, and this week its Andy's, Markelle, and Uncle Paul's birthday so happy birthday!!
