It's All Good Week #8

Soo...this week we were stuck in quarantine in our apartment. Fun stuff. It honestly wasn't too bad besides the occasional headache and other stuff that I wont go into, but I kinda really missed being able to actually do missionary work. Like calling the people we are teaching isn't getting the job done ngl. We did our best but it's still a struggle. 

It was the little things that kept me going. Honestly as long as I got in everything I was supposed to, like personal study, language study, and companion study the day went smoothly. We did our best with what we could do with actual missionary work like I said, but it wasn't the best. Its all good though. 

Some non-missionary things we did did quarantine. 

Me and my companion bought the little cheap pickleball starter sets like the day or so before we went into quarantine, so that's been the highlight of every single day. We've gone most days...and it's been a blast. It kinda got boring on Friday so I decided to beat them in pros clothes. So there's a picture of that. My back is really killing me (iykyk). My companion got tired of getting megged so he accidentally put a hole in my soccer ball. I've gotten upside down by jack Johnson really good on the guitar. Felicia called us up to see where we were at, because we didn't show up to our lesson (that we had canceled but she had forgot). She learned we were in quarantine, and she said "ooooo lucky I'm at wall-mart!! Y'all have bop-it? No? Imma get y'all a bop-it!" She's the best...but they didn't have bop it. Ya hate to see it haha. But she got us battle ship and monopoly instead. She really is the best. Honestly when the members found out we were stuck, they all called us and asked what they could do it was amazing!!! My roommates got tired of losing at Rummikub and slap jack so we haven't played those in a couple days. 

So that was basically my week. Everybody we called talked about the election and it was kinda annoying ngl. But it's all good. I'm just gonna keep on keeping on as a missionary. Cary keeps posting that he's praying for us...and Biden. But that's besides the point. He keeps us updated on like every sport, and corona, and honestly anything that happens at Denny's. I'm pretty sure we know everything about scheduling at Denny's. That's crazy!!

I miss all of you guys but even in quarantine, there is no place that I would rather be rn. I know this is where heavenly father has me right, and I know that's gonna reason. I just have to do my best, and stay positive and that's all i can do right now. I appreciate all your guys messages, and I read every one of them!! 

A simple testimony I'll share right now is that god and Jesus Christ really have a plan for each and every one of you. He is in the details of our lives. No matter how insignificant something may seem, if it matters to you, it matters to god. He loves you unconditionally, with a perfection that we cannot fully comprehend. We grow and become closer to who we are meant to be through the challenges and heartaches in this life. He not only knows what we are going through. He knows how we get through it. Lean on him when you need.
