It's All Good - Week #7

 

¿Que tal? (How are you?)

This week was a wack one ngl. It'll be different. We lost Elder Bird (god bless), and got 2 new elders in our apartment. The split our area norte (North) and sur (South), and gave us norte. Norte is better obviously. But actually we have most the people we are already teaching, but they have 1 or 2 really prime locations. The elders living with us are Elder Jesse, and Elder Loftus. Elder Jesse has been out for 21 months so he probably will die in jasper. Best place to die tbh. He’s sick. He’s shorter than me which is kinda weird. But he can teach me guitar, and I'm already banging out songs like circles and here comes the sun. He’s our district leader and yeah that's basically it. He’s Spanish speaking too. Elder Loftus is literally such an idiot, but he’s chilling. He’s brand new and the stupidest person I know, but I love him. It's all good don’t worry about it. He is also learning Spanish, and I'm actually teaching him right now which makes me feel dope bc I thought I didn’t know anything haha. But he’s kinda a rich boy and he pisses Elder Brandner off all the time. So it's a good time haha. They have a rental car, so they don’t have tiwi, which is golden.

Any way this week we had so many lessons with bird saying goodbye. Cary, Christian and Felicia, Mark and Kendra, Colin, the Scott's, the Ahuners, and more. They are all soooo dope. Elder Bird will be missed.

That was Monday and Tuesday and Wednesday.

Thursday we started on the trek to Louisville which is like a 2 hour drive, it's really nice actually. Except the highway was closed so knock off Siri took us weird ways. But it was really pretty so thanks knock off Siri. Also the arm of the hurricane was hitting us hard so rain was pouring.

But then we dropped bird off and drove home

Then we cleaned a bunch and moved beds and stuff. Then they moved in. Literally a party but like a missionary party ya know. Gotta keep it holy!! The only problem is the 1 bathroom. But it's still ok.

Saturday we help this awesome lady move. I think I broke my toe, but other than that it was sick. She was super nice, and Tristan helped out. It was cool. Also we got some bored games bc we had to be in at 6 for Halloween. We played slap Jack and it got pretty intense, it was awesome. Also I've still only lost to my mom in Rummikub. Sunday we walked around in the freezing wind which was a rip. Then we had a lesson with the Scott's which is always amazing!!

Today we got some pickle paddles from Walmart and I absolutely whooped them, so that was poppin.

Love you guys!! Prayer is amazing you guys should pray a lot. It's worth it.

It was a pretty weird week, but we’ll get settled in.
