It's All Good - Week #5 In The Field

Hooooly moly this week was wiiild!!  This week had amazing days.

So a quick rundown of some cool stuff.

Tuesday we had an awesome drive through the country during fall, we got "lost" and took a longer route and were jamming out to gospel jams. I took some pictures. That dinner was bomb they told us about this dude so he Drives a moped, Got hit with a paintball gun while driving, Wore his ghetto rain gear, Eats old food like its candy, a true talent, Birds lived in his beard, Heavy drinker, the Mexicans had beef with him so they out Cheese on his foot spots on his moped, Goes to every football game, believed in aliens in the field behind their plant. So dope dude. That family is awesome, they own their own business and have a bunch of kids our age, on reminded me of Zack Johnson, so that was sick.

Wednesday we helped this pregnant lady set up her lemonade stand and we got free lemonade, and it was bike day so yaga!!

Thursday was my first zone conference which was sick. Except we had to wake up at 5 to get to New Albany on time. But everyone was dope, we had to all get flu shots so all the guys in my district, who are the best, got em and it was a good time. And we got massive sandwiches for lunch so I had 3. The meeting was awesome a super spiritual.

Friday we had a lesson with Mary, my and elder bird did the dishes, and we a whole gallon of free lemonade!! Good stuff!! We also all almost fell asleep watching a Book of Mormon video with Cary. But after that we went and painted Marc's new house they are moving into on

Saturday...alright this is the day that is wild.

Back ground information. We talked to Cary and re set his baptism date for November 7th bc he could get work off 100% the week before was his bap date but he couldn’t get work off. Soo we were praying for a miracle. We got the whole mission to pray and we fasted a day but he wasn’t able to get baptized.

So we start the day getting all the studies in, personal, comp, language, 12 weeks. And then we head over to Marc's house with a bunch of the ward to help them move. They have literally sooo much stuff, but we grind and get the big furniture, and everything over to the new house. We start at 1:30 and we've got everything out of the old house. They've got so much crap ngl. Soo it's about 4:30 and we get a text from Cary. There was another gas leak at Denny’s and he’s got Saturday and Sunday off. Were like shoot. And he says he wants to get baptized today. Were like double shoot. And he says this is the miracle we’ve been praying for. Soo we call bishop...no answer. We still have an hour left of moving so we grind and get it done. Its 5:30 we finally get a hold of bishop and he basically tells us no, he doesn’t want to. So we call Cary up and we pray and all of us are like shoot. He’s going to get baptized on Nov 7th, but I just felt like we had to go for it today. So I tell the other elders to pray and we called bishop back and prayed with him. We called the zone leaders and basically told them we were sending it. Soo we run back to the apartment, change into our suits in like 2 seconds. And run to fill the font, it takes a minute. And we call 1 million people and get this thing going. Tristian is going to pick him up, and say a talk, the bishop's is baptizing him, Will is saying a prayer, Brother Mcservy is giving some remarks, Brother Mcrady makes a program. So we set up the church, and will brings some food which we hadn't eaten forever, we had some good times with a ghost pepper that day. I had to play the piano again, which was fine but I messed up a lot again it's all good. But we got some pic and the baptism was at 7. When Cary came out of the water he goes " ooooohohoho....thanks" and walks off. Then a few minutes later I'm just chilling playing some prelude were all talking. He walks out still in his white suit and he’s like I can’t get it off. So we have to go help him get it off which was spooky. But it was all good. We cleaned up. But what a frickin’[BP1]  miracle!! We pulled together his baptism in under and hour basically by the time we decided to send it. We prayed and this was our miracle. All the people that helped move, helped with the baptism and it really was amazing!!! We were rushing but we got it done bois

Sunday mark gave us a guitar and I had to speak on why I came out on a mission and it was killer trust me. We had dinner with the Scott's and they gave us like 40 million dishes of food so they really clutched up ngl. If anyone wants to teach me how to play the guitar or fun guitar or ukulele songs, we’ve got one of those, feel free to send them anytime.

So my week was awesome!! This was the last little testimony I did in my talk, I used nosotros because I wanted to be like bam, and confuse Elder Brandner

I'll put all of the special little things in the next email because this one is kinda long, but that's it!!

Also, I cut my comps hair on p-day and the sides were bomb, but with the top I need a li’l practice.

Te amo

-max
