On the Way to Kentucky - We Love You The Most Elder Petersen

 A few days before Elder Petersen left for the field his aunt told his mom not to be surprised if she didn't hear from him for a week. Max processed that information, knew his mom might have a problem with that, and quietly told her he would find a way.

Sure enough he did just that. She got two messages on Google Hangouts as he traveled. The first stated  he was through Security and they had taken his lotion and toothpaste, but he was good. The second stated that he had landed. 

Later that night, he was actually able to call and his mom and dad and she thanked him for messaging her. His response, "I've got your back."

It was then that she recognized what she would miss the very most. HE comforts her heart. He did it before he was born, and he is still doing it. 

Missionary work during a pandemic may look different than in the past, but now I know why the Lord needed him to be born at a certain time. The Lord needs him right now!! What an amazing missionary this Elder is going to be!!
