Email from the Bishopric

Hello Angel Crossing Ward Members,

For those of you that have not heard yet, Max Petersen received his mission call last week.  He will be serving in the Kentucky Louisville Mission and will be teaching the gospel in the Spanish language.  He will begin his missionary service this August.

As a bishopric, we are excited for Max and we are proud of him for his willingness to sacrifice and serve the Lord for two years of his life.  We know the people of Kentucky will be blessed by having him serve in their area.  We also know that he and his family will be blessed as a result of his service.  

Elder Holland said the following about missionary service: “I promise that because of your faithful response to the call to spread the gospel, He will bind up your broken hearts, dry your tears, and set you and your families free. That is my missionary promise to you and your missionary message to the world.”

We hope all of you are doing well and we look forward to the coming weeks when we will be able to meet together at church again.
