It's All Good - Week #50
What's going on everybody!! Hope your staying positive and feeling good. Idk what I'm saying half the time on these e-mails but here's how my week went
So Tuesday was dope. We went and helped this old Baptist preacher with some service. His house was kinda grody, but we cleaned it up real nice. He used to be a real successful basketball coach and we got to hear all his stories. Then we hit up the Hernandez family who are loads of fun. They want me to cut Christians hair tomorrow actually so that'll be a good time.
Wednesday was a kinda long uneventful day but we did have a banging lesson with this dude Evelio. He really loves Jesus.
Thursday we hit lots of planning, for the week and for the English class page which for some reason they thought we would be good to run, who know why. Then we had some fire lessons, and basketball night, which was sick. Then another lesson, which after balling up, I was a little zonked. But my Spanish wasn't slurred enough, so the Montoyas understood me.
Friday we had a good disco, then a lowkey bash with this breaking bad looking feller. But he gave us some chocolate milk so I was down. Then we were going to have soccer night, but the women's conference lady's didn't look at the schedule for the gym and set up early. Which is fine but we had to tell all the homies we invited to come the next day instead. We also went to dinner with some other missionaries that was a good time.
Saturday we actually had soccer night so that's always a good time. I've officially busted through another pair of shoes, sorry mom. So my toe was hanging out the entire time haha. We also had dinner with the senior missionaries in our district, and they just made me want to travel even more. They were talking about their trip to Europe and man I was getting hyped. Love the Gould's.
Sunday was pretty dope too. We went to church...and I translated which went actually really well until the lady at the end who decided she never wanted to take a breath. Haha it's all good. Then we went to lunch at the Mushala's. The homie Stuart showed me all of their pets, and we had lunch, shared a message, and played a Oregon trail game. It was kinda fun. Then we had a few lessons, and family home evening with the Valencia's, and then taco night baby. It's back, so we got all out tortillas, some cheese, and Brookside got the rest and bingo...taco night
Shout out to Luke who gave his farewell this last week!! I'm excited for you man!!
Love Jesus everybody, god is good!! That's all I got today, love y'all!!
Te amo
