It's All Good - Week #41

Que tal yall!! This week was pretty solid. I gotta figure out a new word to describe my week bc I say solid every week I feel. Anyway let's hop into it.

Tuesday-so basically this entire week I've been a little sick and have felt like crap. So that being said, you know we bike for like 4 hours around Lexington for some lessons with members. We took a little brake and got a tour of a recording studio in the back of a doo-wap shop. It was pretty sick. English class was a bit of a rip, no one showed up. Aldo came but then we saw he had a nail in his tire so we told him we should probably get that figured out.

Wednesday- we did a "little bit" of service with Ingrid. It actually wasn't too bad, and she gave us a record player...it was broken but it's the thought that counts. Had some good lessons and got to chill with Mohammed and Walter for a bit at the park while we gave them some gospel.

Thursday- we skirted over to Keeneland and had a bunch of lessons and one with this homie named able. We literally taught almost 3 lessons he kept just asking questions and was actually engaged. Doesn't happen too often so it was hype.

Friday- we had zone conference today. And it was a rager. We had to sing, well the district did, I lucked out and happened to play the piano, thanks sandy. So I played a fun little version of más cerca Dios de ti, and our sick (literally) district sang. Got to see some old homies at ZC. This transfer we have some legends leaving some testimonies big slapped. Elder Thomas, elder riley, elder spencer, and elder Kyle Allison. Kinda sad were losing some legends but it'll be good. We celebrated with Beaumont at b-dubs later. Then we pulled up to volleyball night, and we had a great time. We had so many new people and it was great.

Saturday-we filmed an English class, got some stuff ready for Spencer to home, had some good contacts. And had a poppin soccer night again!!! This is what I've been missing my entire mission. Playing some quality soccer with Latino homies. We got Aldo and the gang to come, Eduardo, Rone, Jose Luis, presidente and his son, and a bunch more, twas poppin.

Sunday- we had a little fast in the branch for the work and we managed to get aldo and the gang to come to church!! Let's goo!! It was pretty cooo. We also performed out musical number in church as well. We might as well go on tour at this point. Also Tony ( a homie I taught in ola) got baptized it was sick!!

Overall, solid week besides being feeling like crap. But I'm trying to make the most of every second I can out here in Lexington with this group. It really is pretty awesome.

Love ya
Te amo
